About Tracy Johnston
Tracey is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 20 years of experience providing counselling and support. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults, offering intervention for a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, perinatal concerns, relationship and family issues, chronic health conditions, work-related problems, adjustment issues, behavioral concerns, and parenting difficulties. Tracey is committed to creating a compassionate, supportive space where clients can build resilience and move their lives forward in a positive direction. Recognizing the importance of a strong therapeutic alliance, Tracey is personable, approachable, and authentic in her interactions. She employs a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, and Couples and Family Therapy. In March 2024, Tracey will also be trained to offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to further support clients on their journey toward healing and growth.
